First world problems.

There will be an abbreviated first world problems list today, not because i don't have problems (i assure you, i have many.)  but because i did a guest post of MORE first world problems over on kelsey's blog, so make sure you head over there and check out my sass.  While your there, ask her why the hell she is friends with me....

1.  I went to whole foods yesterday.  (i swear, whole foods is the FACE of first world problems.)  while i was there mixing up my own trail mix, strolling through the store, wearing my toms, munching on a free sample of quinoa, i realized - i am an asshole.

FIRST WORLD PROBLEM.

2.  While making said granola, i grabbed what i thought was dark chocolate.  I was wrong.  DEAR GOD I WAS WRONG!!!!
CAROB CHIPS???? WTF???

FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS.

3.  I ate the aforementioned trail mix before my run last night.  I threw up at mile 1.5 and it wasn't pretty.  It also ended up cutting my run like 5 miles short because of the puke.  so that sucked.
FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS.

4.  While i was puking a deer was watching me.  In another time and place, it might have been serene, if not magical.  But at that moment, it just pissed me off.
I know that i suck at running, but you don't have to stare, JERK.

FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS

5.  I woke up today, for the first time since i began training for this marathon, and nothing hurt.  No pain anywhere.  Everything feels great.  Obviously, Matt is drugging me.

FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS

6.  I spent 20 minutes this morning at like 6am walking the dog, trying to get her to poop.  She had been chowing down all evening gingerfoxxx style and still hadn't gone.  Matt, the poop whisperer, takes her out and she poops within 30 seconds.  What is your deal waffles??
FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS.

7. My best friend Rachel brought this over last night:
fml.  seriously.

FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS.

8.  It's supposed to be damn near 80 degrees on sunday for the get lucky half marathon.  HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WEAR A COSTUME??????
Stupid beautiful weather.

FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS.

9. Is anyone following the iditarod?  Am i the only super nerd??  I love these huge insane races. you can follow it here.  It's referred to as the worlds "Last great race."  If thats true, WHAT THE HELL ARE WE ALL DOING?
FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS.

10.  I just bought tickets for me and my family to go to Ireland in the fall.  Wait a minute - that's not a problem at all.  In fact, i am bragging.

FIRST WORLD WINNING.

(Sorry, i meant to stop at like 5 and just couldn't.  If only i had that problem when running.....)

    1. I ran by work now that the sun is out later! I was on the north branch trail, it goes through the botanic gardens, so there are lots of deer. (definitely not a lakefront deer. i am assuming a lakefront deer would just be a giant raccoon with antlers anyway....)

  6. Love your First World Problem posts! LOL!

My husband is going to the Whole Foods with the trailmix bar this weekend. I wonder if he will make me some. No carob chips though. I am vegan and don't even care for them.

So cool you are going to Ireland!!!

You are going to the meetup on Saturday, right? I was going to suggest a run on Friday evening, but I think I will see you Saturday morning ;)
