So if you read any of my race recaps, first off - thank you, i realize how boring i am. But secondly, you might have noticed Clucky, my race medal displaying stuffed chicken.
I bought Clucky like 8 years ago at target when he was 75% off (post-easter) He is actually supposed to be some kind of pillow i suppose. For some reason, despite moving at least 8 times in those past 8 years, and doing a clean sweep every single time, Clucky always made the cut and came with me. When i ran my first race last September, i was so excited that i wanted my medal to be out in the open. So i jokingly put it around Clucky's neck, making him look like a little olympian! It kind of became the tradition, after every race, to come home and present Clucky with a medal. You can see some additional medals off to the side - those are Matts, who has yet to find an oversized comical stuffed animal on which to display his race medals.
Can I have Clucky? With all your medals of course. Especially your marathon ones.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Clucky! Every time I see your post-race photos and he has a new medal around his neck, I giggle at how amazingly adorable he is!
ReplyDeleteI also love how Matt's are off to the side. My BF tried to hang his SF10 on my medal rack, and I took it off and hung it on the doorknob. He was so mad. :)
I heart clucky. Did he come with the awesome viking helmet? Or did you add that later?
ReplyDeleteClucky is going to need a pal soon with all those medals! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is the best way to display medals!!! So much better than a medal rack!
ReplyDeleteHaha i love it! Way better than just a wall display!
ReplyDeleteIs Clucky able to breathe with all of those medals? :-)
ReplyDeleteClucky rocks! I love his jaunty Norse warrior hat too!
ReplyDeleteClucky is awesome! What a fun and unique way to display your medals.
ReplyDeleteI {heart} Clucky! Very nice way to show off your medals. Mine are in a shoebox lid :(
ReplyDeleteClucky is adorable! That's a great idea :)
